Organic quality from the highlands

This cheese is a true natural product. It is made exclusively from the organic milk of sheep and goats that graze on the high plateaus of Eastern Anatolia. The rich flora of these regions gives the milk its unique, spicy flavor. ARAS produces this cheese without any additives – only pure organic milk, natural yeast, and table salt.

Traditionally aged for 6–9 months

The Erzincan Tulum owes its intense aroma to its long maturation (fermentation). The cheese is pressed into containers or traditionally into goat skin (Deri) and then ages for at least 6 to 9 months in cold storage. Only then does it develop its full-bodied, strong, and piquant flavor.

Serving recommendation

This powerful cheese is a must on any traditional meze platter and elevates every Turkish breakfast (Kahvaltı).
