Regional specialty from Izmir (Organic)

This Tulum cheese differs clearly from other varieties. In the Izmir region, it is produced depending on the season from organic sheep’s, goat’s, or cow’s milk. ALTINKILIÇ processes this natural milk using only yeast and table salt. Unlike the crumbly Erzincan Tulum, this cheese is shaped and packaged in block form.

Strong & aged (6–9 months)

Its full aroma comes from traditional maturation. After packaging, it is stored (fermented) in cold rooms for at least 6 to 9 months. During this time, it develops its very rich, strong, and spicy flavor.

Serving recommendation

Izmir Tulum is an aromatic delicacy for connoisseurs. It is rich in proteins and vitamins.
