Experience one of Turkey’s most famous cheeses in pure organic cow’s milk quality: ALTINKILIÇ Ezine Cheese. This cheese is a classic white cheese (Beyaz Peynir) that takes its protected name from its homeland, the Ezine region in Çanakkale.

The home of flavor: Ezine (Organic)

The Ezine region is Turkey’s cheese heartland. For this cheese, ALTINKILIÇ uses only 100% organic cow’s milk from naturally fed cows on open pastures. The fresh milk is carefully filtered, pasteurized, and fermented with natural yeast. No additives are used.

Traditionally aged for full aroma

The true secret of this white cheese is time. After production, it is aged (fermented) in cold storage and rests for at least 6 to 9 months in brine. During this period, it develops its unmistakable, full-bodied, and creamy-savory flavor.

Serving recommendation

This cheese is the undisputed star of the traditional Turkish breakfast (Kahvaltı). It tastes excellent on its own with olives and tomatoes, but also as a filling for börek or as a savory touch in salads.
